Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Polish Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy (PTAiIT), we are pleased to announce that the 20th International Congress of the Polish Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy will be held on 2nd – 5th September 2020 in Kraków, in the state-of-the-art ICE Kraków Congress Centre.
You may find the Congress’ core scientific programme proposals, which is being developed, and other information in relevant tabs on our website. Your comments, suggestions and interesting ideas about the website contents are welcome. In principle, the website should be interactive and is to be used for a long-term and comprehensive preparation of the Congress. Moreover, the Congress’ website is intended as an on-going educational resource.
The major objective of the Congress is the integration of healthcare professionals and implementation of best methods of treatment for the patient in the domain of anaesthesiology and intensive care. The Congress is also aimed at presenting cutting-edge knowledge as regards scientific and practical interests of anaesthesiologists. We also see the Congress as an opportunity to bring together anaesthesiology professionals and associations from across the globe, and to define our role in the Polish healthcare system in the 21st century.
In the near future, the Congress’ Scientific and Organisational Committee will be appointed with a view to developing a detailed programme of scientific sessions, workshops and courses, which are expected to embrace all current subjects in the field of anaesthesiology and intensive care.
Given the domestic and international group of experts and academic lecturers, the discussions are bound to be of high competence. The local Organisational Committee will spare no efforts to make the cultural offer of the royal city of Kraków and its surroundings match the scientific programme of the 20th Congress of the Polish Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy in terms of attractiveness.
We count on a large attendance by our domestic and foreign colleagues. You are kindly asked to disseminate the information about this significant event scheduled for 2020 among your colleagues in Poland and abroad.
